We use pure linen. It comes from a mill in Belgium and is extremely high quality. Real linen starts off stiff and crisp, and over time, as it is used, laundered, and pressed, it becomes softer. It is absorbent, natural, and durable.
Before a needle even enters the fibers of the linen, a lot of careful calculation and preparation is done. I use the fine threads which make up the fabric to make sure that it is cut perfectly straight and "on-grain". I then measure and crease the linen to ensure even, precise hems. Finally, I calculate and cut the miters, and pin or baste the linen for sewing.
Altar linens are the clothing of Our Lord, and I believe we ought to give him the finest clothing possible, made prayerfully and reverently, with great love and devotion. In the hours spent crafting each piece, I often think about Our Blessed Mother, who remained hidden from the world, quietly and humbly serving Our Lord. I hope to follow her example as best I can.

Corporal
Machine sewn with mitered corners,
hand-embroidered double-sided cross
Suggested Price: $100
All linens are embroidered by hand with a double-sided cross. This means there is no messy backside. It looks exactly the same as the front! I miter the corners which, besides having a beautiful, finished look to them, keeps them even and flat without any extra bulk. The heirloom purificators are sewn by hand using a convent hem, with cotton-lace edging. This means the stitches are invisible and the piece truly has a look of something carefully and beautifully crafted by hand.
There are many ways to customize these linens according to your needs.
*If you would make good use of these linens but cannot afford the listed prices, we will work with you.

About us
We are a traditional Catholic family residing in between Dallas and Tyler, Texas. My husband is an author and helps manage this business. We have three young children. I started sewing linens two years ago in my spare time, which was very occasional. We eventually felt a call to pursue this work more seriously and hopefully be able to do a beautiful work we love while providing our family with stability. We hope that God blesses it and allows it to grow and be fruitful.
